Xiaomi launches Watch S5 46mm in Nepal at Rs 39,999

KATHMANDU: Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi Watch S5 46mm, a smartwatch that combines a premium build, extended battery life, advanced health monitoring and enhanced sports features. The device is available in the Nepali market at Rs 39,999.

The watch has a 1.48-inch AMOLED display with a 480 × 480 resolution, 323 PPI and up to 2,500 nits peak brightness for visibility in bright conditions. Xiaomi said the device features a stainless steel case, a premium bezel, multiple strap options and a lightweight 46 g design for everyday comfort.

Xiaomi said the watch is powered by an 815 mAh battery that delivers up to 21 days of use on a single charge under typical conditions. Health tracking has been upgraded with improved sensors and algorithms for heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO₂) and sleep monitoring. The watch provides weekly and monthly sleep reports and Sleep HRV monitoring to give users more detailed wellness information.

Aimed at active users, the Watch S5 supports more than 150 sports modes and includes an upgraded dual-band, five-system GNSS for improved location accuracy. When paired with a smartphone, it offers a real-time cycling dashboard. A new Passion Mode can detect cheering gestures such as clapping, arm swinging and fist clenching, and records metrics including heart rate, calories burned and cheer counts.

Connectivity and durability features include Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and 5 ATM water resistance. Xiaomi said the watch’s premium construction makes it suitable for daily wear, health tracking and sports activities.
