KATHMANDU: Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Zhang Maoming, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Balendra Shah in Singha Durbar, Kathmandu, on Monday.
According to Deepa Dahal, Prime Minister’s Press and Research Expert, the two discussed measures to strengthen Nepal-China relations, promote cooperation across various fields and enhance development partnership.
Prime Minister Shah emphasised the need to deepen the historical ties between the two countries and to work together in areas of common interest. Ambassador Maoming extended his best wishes to the prime minister and pledged to help strengthen mutual relations and cooperation.
Earlier on Monday, Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Naveen Srivastava, also met Prime Minister Shah.
