Ather 450X Overtones Series launched at NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026

KATHMANDU: Ather Nepal, operated by Vaidya Energy, unveiled the Ather 450X Overtones Series at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 in Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu today.

The launch is accompanied by software updates and new features across the 450 series, including 'Magic Twist', 'Infinite Cruise' and 'Voice on Ather'. The company also introduced a new 6 kW fast charger for Nepal.

The Overtones Series features a tone-on-tone finish and is offered in three colourways: Still White, Space Grey and Lunar Grey. The scooters retain the sharp silhouette of the 450 line-up while incorporating modern textures over an aerodynamic body. The series is available in Nepal from today. Pricing for the Ather 450 Series starts at Rs 334,900, and the Rizta Series starts at Rs 314,900.

The new riding technologies include 'Magic Twist', which lets riders slow down or stop by twisting the throttle backwards and uses regenerative braking to recover energy even when the battery is fully charged. 'Infinite Cruise' helps maintain a steady speed without continuous throttle input during long rides or steady traffic. 'Voice on Ather', powered by AtherStack 7.0, enables natural speech interaction via a compatible Bluetooth headset or smart helmet to search for destinations, start navigation, locate charging stations and adjust scooter settings.

The 6 kW fast charger can provide roughly 30 km of range in about 10 minutes, as part of Ather’s plan to expand charging infrastructure across Nepal.

Visitors can see live demonstrations at Hall C, Stall C2. Attendees may enter a social media competition to win an Ather scooter by following Ather Energy Nepal on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok, posting a photo taken at the stall, tagging @AtherEnergyNepal and tagging two friends.

NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 will continue through Sunday, August 16.
