KATHMANDU: Chery Wanda has showcased its smart electric commercial vans at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026. The expo opened at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, on Tuesday, and will run until August 16.

The company is exhibiting at Stall 16 in Hall D, where visitors can explore its range of EV vans and obtain details on models, specifications and financing plans. The display includes models with seating capacities of 11, 12, 14 and 16 seats, aimed at commercial operators, schools and colleges.

The 11- and 12-seater models are equipped with a 41.86 kWh CATL battery, 70 kW peak power, 180 mm ground clearance and a driving range of up to 300 kilometres on a single charge. The 14-seater model features a 53.58 kWh CATL battery, 80 kW peak power, 200 mm ground clearance and offers a range of up to 300 kilometres.

The 16-seater minibus variant is offered with two CATL battery choices — 53.58 kWh and 70 kWh — delivering 80 kW and 120 kW peak power respectively. This model provides 210 mm ground clearance and offers a range between 280 and 350 kilometres depending on the specific configuration.

The vans prioritise modern technology, high peak power, substantial battery capacity and strong ground clearance to meet growing market demand for commercial electric vehicles.

Meanwhile, Chery Wanda has announced a collateral-free vehicle purchase facility through hire-purchase financing, which the company says will make commercial vehicle ownership more accessible and convenient for customers. Expo attendees can obtain full information on vehicle models, technical specifications, range and financing options directly at the stall.
