KATHMANDU: Vaidya's Organisation, the authorised distributor of Italian premium motorcycle brand Morbidelli, has launched the T250X adventure motorcycle in Nepal. Sales have commenced, and the model was displayed at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, which opened in Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, on August 11.

The company has set the price of the Morbidelli T250X at Rs 620,000, making it the most affordable Morbidelli model available in the Nepali market. With the arrival of the new model, Morbidelli expects to expand its presence in Nepal’s adventure motorcycle segment.

Previously available in Nepal under Morbidelli’s adventure range were the T352X, T502X and T1002VX Super Adventure. The T250X is offered as an entry-level model within the same line-up.

The T250X is powered by a 249.4 cc single-cylinder, four-valve, air-cooled EFI engine that produces a maximum output of 22.4 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and 22.3 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. It has a 6-speed gearbox and a top speed of approximately 115 kilometres per hour.

Chassis and suspension features include long-travel USD front forks with 177 mm of front travel and a rear preload-adjustable monoshock with 55 mm of rear travel. The motorcycle comes with spoked wheels, disc brakes and dual-purpose tyres to help maintain stability and control on both road and off-road surfaces.

Weighing 154 kg, the T250X has a ground clearance of 220 mm, a seat height of 820 mm and a fuel tank capacity of 11.7 litres. The company said these specifications provide the clearance and riding capability suited to Nepali road and off-road conditions.

Targeted at enthusiasts who favour adventure and touring, the T250X is expected to generate interest in the Nepali market through its design, performance and modern technology. Morbidelli Nepal said it remains committed to strengthening its presence in the Nepali motorcycle market by delivering world-class products, quality service and a strong customer experience.

According to Vaidya's Organisation, the T250X aims at customers seeking an affordable adventure motorcycle in Nepal and will help widen Morbidelli’s adventure segment and extend the brand’s reach among Nepali youth and adventure riders.
