KATHMANDU: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Gauri Kumari said an online tracking system will be introduced to make cooking gas supply and distribution more transparent and effective.
She made the remark during a discussion on food supply organised by the Industry, Commerce, Labour and Consumer Welfare Committee of the House of Representatives (HoR) on Wednesday, and said details of gas distribution are being published via Google Forms.
The minister added that arrangements have been made for the sale and distribution of food at Singha Durbar through a stall of Nepal Food Corporation (NFC) from August 13, Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) reported.
Nagendra Shah, managing director of Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC), said the supply of cooking gas will be eased within a week.
