Bajaj Auto expands electric Chetak line-up in Nepal with C2501, C3503

KATHMANDU: The electric Chetak line-up has officially expanded in Nepal following the launch of two new models by Bajaj Auto at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026. The showcase took place at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, from August 11 to 16.

Bajaj Auto, the world’s most valuable two-wheeler and three-wheeler manufacturer, introduced the electric two-wheelers at the event. The new additions include the Chetak C2501, priced at Rs 281,900, alongside the higher-spec Chetak C3503, which is available at Rs 339,900.

Engineered for urban commuting, both zero-emission electric scooters feature Chetak’s iconic all-metal body combined with modern technology.

The Chetak C2501 offers an accessible, lightweight design powered by a 2.5 kWh battery pack. It delivers a range of up to 113 kilometres on a single charge and achieves a top speed of 60 km/h.

Meanwhile, the premium Chetak C3503 features a larger 3.5 kWh battery, delivering a range of up to 153 kilometres alongside a top speed of 70 km/h. The variant also includes a class-leading 35-litre under-seat boot and smart connectivity, incorporating Bluetooth integration, call and music management, and hill-hold assist.
