KATHMANDU: Nepal Distilleries (NDPL) secured four major honours at the FLAME Awards Asia 2026 ceremony in New Delhi, India, marking a milestone for Nepali brand strategy and creative marketing.
The awards recognised work in experiential marketing, activation, consumer engagement and innovation from across South Asia. The winning entries represented two core NDPL brands, with Outreach Nepal acting as the creative agency for the submissions.
NDPL’s Mero Khukri campaign won two Gold awards, taking top honours in the South Asia Emerging Market Campaign and Last-Mile Innovation categories. Rooted in the connection shared across generations of consumers, the campaign emphasised ownership and belonging by placing consumers at the heart of the brand narrative.
The event’s top prize, the South Asia Grand Prix, went to Nude’s 'Just Be You' campaign. Centred on individuality, authenticity and self‑expression, the initiative demonstrated the impact of a clear brand belief conveyed through bold and culturally relevant messaging.
The Pokhara Flash Mob activation secured Silver in the Small Budget Campaign – South Asia category, showing that deep local insight and creative execution can generate wide impact without substantial budgets.
All four campaigns drew on cultural and audience understanding. The awards highlighted the collaborative partnership between Nepal Distilleries and Outreach Nepal and showed that creative work produced in Nepal can compete with the leading marketing efforts across South Asia.
