KATHMANDU: Nepali technology company nchat has introduced a new AI Builder feature that lets users build custom digital applications and mini-apps without coding experience or technical expertise.

The company said the tool enables businesses, students, startups and various organisations to create tailored digital solutions according to their needs. Its primary objective is to assist general users in converting their concepts into functional digital products.

Through the Builder, available on the nchat platform, users can construct solutions such as business applications, school management systems, restaurant systems, community platforms, internal company utilities and start-up minimum viable products (MVPs).

nchat expects the feature to benefit small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), students, entrepreneurs and creators across Nepal. While traditional application or website development typically requires software developers, technical knowledge and additional expenditure, the company aims to simplify this process using artificial intelligence and no-code technology.

Beyond commercial applications, nchat has introduced a concept to encourage students and young people to create digital solutions for challenges observed within their local communities. The company aims to help develop students into 'problem solvers' and 'builders' rather than passive technology users.

The platform is working towards integrating several digital services — including messaging, voice and video calling, community features and mini-apps — into a single ecosystem.

According to details on the company’s official website, the AI Builder relies on a 'no-code' approach, with the platform stating that application creation can begin in roughly 10 minutes.
