AVATR 07 launched at NADA Auto Show 2026

KATHMANDU: CG MAW Evolution officially launched the AVATR 07 in Nepal on the opening day of the NADA Auto Show 2026 on Tuesday. The launch marks the arrival of another premium intelligent electric vehicle in the Nepali market.

Vishnu Kumar Agarwal, chairman of MAW Group; Nirvana Chaudhary, managing director of Chaudhary Group; Du Kaijian Kevin, representing Changan International Corporation; and Vivek Sikaria, managing director of MAW Vriddhi, jointly unveiled the vehicle. CG MAW Evolution serves as the official distributor of AVATR vehicles in the country.

Built around the philosophy of Smart Elegance, Effortless Luxury, the AVATR 07 combines distinctive design, intelligent technology, refined comfort and electric performance. The premium electric SUV is powered by an 82.16 kWh LFP battery and offers a claimed driving range of up to 575 km under NEDC testing conditions. Its rear-wheel-drive powertrain delivers 190 kW of peak power and 365 Nm of torque, enabling the vehicle to accelerate from 0–100 km/h in 7.7 seconds.

The cabin is technology-focused and luxurious, featuring a 35.4-inch 4K panoramic display, a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, Nappa leather upholstery, 64-colour ambient lighting and a 16-speaker Pioneer audio system. Other highlights include zero-gravity front seats, seat ventilation and heating, massage functionality, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 50W wireless smartphone charger.

Safety equipment includes nine airbags and an extensive suite of intelligent driver-assistance and safety technologies supported by LiDAR, multiple high-definition cameras and ultrasonic-wave radars.

The AVATR 07 has been launched at a maximum retail price of Rs 22 million, while the AVATR 07 with FHD is priced at Rs 23 million. Visitors can view the electric SUV at the AVATR pavilion throughout the NADA Auto Show 2026.
