RVX electric motorcycle launched at NADA Auto Show  in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: MV Dugar Group, the official distributor of Revolt Motors in Nepal, launched the all-new RVX electric motorcycle at the NADA Auto Show 2026 in Kathmandu on Tuesday. The model is being offered at a limited-period introductory price of Rs 399,000 and is manufactured by RattanIndia Enterprises' subsidiary Revolt Motors.

The performance-oriented bike features a 4 kW mid-drive PMSM motor, delivering a peak output of 5.3 kW and up to 230 Nm of torque at the wheel. It accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in 3.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 90 km/h in its Boost mode.

The vehicle is equipped with a 3.24 kWh removable NMC battery, offering an IDC range of 160 kilometres on a single full charge. Using a fast charger, the battery can be replenished to 80% in 80 minutes via a standard household socket.

Key specifications and equipment include four riding modes — Boost, Sports, City and Eco — upside-down front forks and a rear mono-shock for varied road conditions, a 3.5-inch IP67-rated PMVA display, Bluetooth connectivity, geo-fencing, hill-hold assist, reverse mode and an immobiliser. The motorcycle is available in Pearl Black, Electric Blue and Eclipse Red.

The companies also launched the 'Nepal Garchha Revolt' campaign, a brand movement targeting younger Nepali riders who view mobility as an extension of their identity and aspirations.

Bookings and test rides for the RVX are open at the Revolt pavilion at the NADA Auto Show and at the flagship showroom in Panipokhari, Kathmandu. Deliveries are expected to commence shortly across Revolt's expanding showroom network in major cities including Birgunj, Janakpur, Pokhara, Biratnagar, Nepalgunj, Butwal and Dhangadhi. Each showroom will be staffed with trained EV technicians and equipped with dedicated service infrastructure and access to original parts and accessories.
