KATHMANDU: Shangrila Motors has introduced the 2026 Leapmotor C10 electric SUV in Nepal at a special introductory price of Rs 7.59 million. Following the initial promotional period, the standard price for the flagship model will revert to Rs 7.79 million. Shangrila Motors functions as the authorised distributor of Leapmotor in Nepal under the Golchha Organisation.

Powered by a 160-kW electric rear-wheel drive (RWD) motor, the C10 delivers a driving range of 530 kilometres (CLTC) on a single charge and offers a ground clearance of 190 millimetres. The SUV utilises Cell-to-Chassis (CTC) technology designed to enhance structural safety while maximising interior cabin space, remaining Leapmotor’s best-selling vehicle in the Nepalese market.

The updated 2026 iteration comes with upgraded smart connectivity, incorporating the official Leapmotor App alongside support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Inside, the cabin features a 14.6-inch central touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital driver display, a 2.1-square-metre panoramic glass roof, Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and premium leatherette seating.

Global backing for Leapmotor comes from Stellantis, the parent group behind 14 automotive brands including Maserati, Alfa Romeo and Peugeot. Currently recognised as China’s top start-up in the New Energy Vehicle (NEV) sector, the manufacturer has surpassed 1.6 million global vehicle sales, recording over 100,000 deliveries in July alone. The brand maintains a network of more than 1,700 sales and service points across 50 countries.

In an official statement, Shangrila Motors expressed its gratitude to all visitors and buyers for their continued trust and support.
