KATHMANDU: Yeti Paints has donated Rs 1,111,111 to support search, rescue and relief operations for residents affected by the Bhotekoshi flood in Rasuwa.
The company contributed Rs 1.11 million directly to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund.
The company chairman, Jhalak Bahadur KC, said the support was provided under the firm’s corporate social responsibility after widespread loss of life and physical damage caused by the flood across multiple districts, including Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha and Tanahun.
According to KC, the financial support was allocated for the immediate relief and rehabilitation of residents living in areas impacted by the natural disaster.
The company paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the flood and offered condolences to the bereaved families.
