Global IME Bank proposes 10 pc dividend for FY 2025/26

KATHMANDU: Global IME Bank has proposed 10% dividend from the distributable profits of the fiscal year 2025/26, comprising a 6% cash dividend (inclusive of tax) and  4% bonus share distribution.

The board of directors approved the proposal at a meeting on Wednesday.

The dividend will be paid to shareholders subject to approval from the central bank, Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), and ratification at the bank's upcoming general meeting.

Global IME Bank is the first private‑sector commercial bank in Nepal to expand its branch network across all 77 districts. It currently serves customers through more than 1,000 service centres, including 341 branch offices, 366 ATMs, 147 branchless banking outlets, 69 extension and revenue collection counters and three foreign representative offices.

The bank brings remittances into Nepal through formal channels from countries such as the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE and India, contributing to the national economy.

Over the years, the institution has received several national and international honours, including Bank of the Year 2014, Best Internet Bank 2016, Best Bank Nepal in 2024, 2025 and 2026, the Euromoney Award for Excellence in 2022, 2024 and 2025, Best Bank ESG Nepal 2024 and Best Employer.
