NCC sets up desk to assist supply movement

KATHMANDU: Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) has set up a facilitation desk at its Jamal secretariat to help businesses affected by supply disruptions following recent disasters.

The establishment of the desk follows the blocking of major transport routes across the country, including the Prithvi Highway, which has caused severe disruption to the movement of goods for industrialists and traders.

The desk will liaise with government bodies, local administrations, security forces, commercial organisations and transport operators to tackle problems in moving relief supplies.

NCC said necessary facilitation will be provided to ensure, as far as possible, the smooth movement of vehicles carrying essential goods.
