F1Soft Group donates Rs 13.5m to Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund

KATHMANDU: F1Soft Group and its employees, along with subsidiaries eSewa, Fonepay, F1Soft International, and Esewa Money Transfer, have donated Rs 13.5 million to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund to support communities affected by recent floods across Nepal.

The corporate contribution is intended to support ongoing relief efforts and provide immediate assistance to families hit by the disaster. The group extended its sympathy to those affected and wished strength and resilience across impacted areas.

F1Soft Group also highlighted public donations mobilised through its digital payment channels. To date, 129,013 eSewa users have contributed Rs 97 million, while 862,445 users have given Rs 2.19 billion via the Fonepay network.

The Fonepay donations include cross-border relief. A total of 19,858 users in India contributed Rs 42.2 million using NPCI-integrated payments, and 2,965 users from China and Southeast Asia contributed Rs 16.3 million via Alipay.

F1Soft Group expressed gratitude to all individuals who made personal contributions through eSewa and Fonepay and extended appreciation to volunteers, government agencies and relief organisations working on the ground to assist affected communities.
