LBEF, Frontline Hospital sign MoU for Sanjeevani healthcare initiative

KATHMANDU: Lord Buddha Education Foundation (LBEF) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Frontline Hospital to improve healthcare and support services for members of the institution.

The agreement was signed during LBEF’s 28th anniversary celebrations in Kathmandu, which also marked the inauguration of the LBEF Sanjeevani healthcare initiative.

Frontline Hospital Chief Executive Officer Dr Ashokvardhan Chordiya, LBEF Group of Institutions Chairman Pankaj Jalan, Executive Director Prakash Kumar Kejriwal and chief operating officer of LBEF Campus attended the signing ceremony.

Jalan said the partnership demonstrated the institution’s dedication to student welfare. He added that LBEF gives equal priority to students’ health, safety and overall well-being alongside academic activities.

The college also organised the Final Year Project Expo 2026 to coincide with its anniversary and the launch of LBEF Sanjeevani. The exhibition featured practical solutions and innovative concepts developed by 80 final-semester Bachelor of Science in Information Technology students to address real-life challenges through information technology.

The expo allowed students to display the technical skills, creativity and problem-solving abilities they had acquired during their studies.

During the exhibition, Chordiya interacted with participants, learned about their projects and offered industry-level suggestions and encouragement. Jalan said the expo would further strengthen links between academic learning and industry.

According to LBEF, its 28th anniversary provided an opportunity to renew its commitment to student development, community welfare and industry collaboration.

The institution said initiatives such as Sanjeevani, operated by Frontline Hospital, and its continued development of technology talent would help it respond to community needs and strengthen its contribution to information technology education in Nepal.

The anniversary celebration, healthcare initiative launch and student exhibition brought together education, student welfare and industry interaction at a single event.
