CHITWAN: Rajhans Automobile has launched the NEVO Q05 electric SUV in Chitwan, with the Ultra variant priced at Rs 5.199 million. The company is the authorised Changan dealer under MAW Vriddhi Autocorp for the Chitwan region.

Exclusive test drives of the vehicle are scheduled from September 14 to 16 at the Deepal Showroom in Rijalchowk, Chitwan.

The compact electric SUV is powered by a 120 kW electric motor that enables it to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 8.1 seconds. It offers a driving range of up to 462 km under NEDC testing and 405 km under WLTP testing, with an energy consumption rate of 12.9 kWh per 100 km.

The vehicle uses CATL battery cells integrated with Changan’s Golden Shield Battery 2.0 technology. Its 3C fast-charging system can charge the battery from 30% to 80% in approximately 15 minutes under suitable conditions.

The cabin technology includes a 14.6-inch 1080p touchscreen powered by an automotive-grade MTK8675 seven-nanometre processor, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Depending on the chosen variant, the vehicle comes equipped with up to 18 driver-assistance functions and a 540-degree panoramic viewing system.

The SUV has a 2,735 mm wheelbase and an 86.6% cabin-space utilisation rate. It provides rear seating for three adults, with two reclining angles of 28 and 33 degrees, nine-layer ergonomic seats and more than 67 sound-insulation and noise-reduction points.

Its luggage capacity includes a 540-litre dual-level boot with 90 litres of concealed storage, alongside 29 dedicated storage compartments. Select variants include a 1.8-square-metre panoramic glass roof equipped with a powered sunshade.

Developed under the direction of Klaus Zyciora, Changan Global Design Vice-President and former Head of Design at Volkswagen Group, the vehicle involved more than 915 design professionals from 31 countries in its development. Built around the Fuguang design philosophy, the NEVO Q05 achieves an aerodynamic drag coefficient of 0.265 Cd.

The vehicle was awarded the 2026 Golden A’ Design Award. Its key visual features include Digital Wing 2.0 full-width lighting, star-ring matrix LED taillights and semi-hidden door handles. The model has maintained the top sales ranking among SUVs in its segment in China for the past five months.
