Hyatt Centric Soalteemode Kathmandu introduces 'Le Petit Chef' 3D dinner theatre

KATHMANDU: Hyatt Centric Soalteemode Kathmandu has introduced 'Le Petit Chef', an internationally renowned 3D dinner theatre experience centred on a 58-millimetre-tall animated culinary character.

The venue offers four pre-selected set menu options: Premium, Non-Vegetarian, Vegetarian and Kids. Between courses, the experience transforms guest tables into interactive projection screens where diners watch short animated performances tracking the miniature chef's chaotic attempts to prepare gourmet meals, after which the hotel's on-site kitchen staff serve the corresponding dishes.

Skullmapping, a Belgian artist collective founded in 2010 by Filip Sterckx and Antoon Verbeeck, created the character in 2015 using 3D mapping technology.
