Landslide blocks Prithvi Highway, transport disrupted
DAMAULI, TANAHUN: A landslide in Ghansikuwa, Byas Municipality-12, has completely blocked the Prithvi Highway, disrupting transport services.
Tanahun District Police Office (DPO) said the vehicles were unable to pass after the landslide debris covered the road this morning. A police team was dispatched to the scene to manage the situation.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Dwarika Prasad Ghimire at the DPO said efforts are underway to clear the debris and reopen the road. Authorities have not yet given a timetable for when normal traffic will resume.
