Khelro brings Nepali cricket to its prediction platform, gives fans new way to play

KATHMANDU: Nepali sports prediction platform Khelro has expanded its service to include Nepali cricket. The expansion enables supporters across the country to predict match outcomes, earn points and compete on leaderboards.

The announcement emphasised that Khelro is a free platform rather than a gambling or betting application. Users do not wager money to participate; gameplay relies entirely on sports knowledge, point accumulation, rankings and friendly competition.

According to a press release, the expansion seeks to give cricket fans an interactive role alongside watching matches. The platform aggregates common fan activities, including debating team selections and analysing match details, into a single digital experience.

“Every cricket fan thinks they know what is going to happen next,” the company stated. “Khelro turns those instincts into a game of prediction and competition.”

“The match may belong to the players,” the statement added. “But the prediction belongs to you.”

Developed by technology firm SoftNEP, the application allows users to participate in prediction games built around available Nepali cricket fixtures. The update marks a broadening of the platform, which originally introduced its prediction feature for international football matches.

Khelro is currently available for download on both Android and iOS devices.
