DHANGADHI: Shree Global, the authorised Changan dealer under MAW Vriddhi Autocorp for Dhangadhi region, will open a new Changan showroom in Rajpur, Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-13, Kailali district on Monday morning. The regional launch of the Changan NEVO Q05 electric SUV is scheduled for that evening, with a four-day test-drive campaign from Monday to Thursday at the Deepal Dhangadhi showroom.
The test-drive campaign will give local customers the chance to sample the NEVO Q05.
Changan markets the NEVO Q05 as its mainstream new-energy vehicle for urban buyers, calling it a global urban premium electric SUV and a 'New-Energy Smart Living Enabler' that offers 'A Class Above in Comfort, Design & Technology.'
The SUV has a 2,735 mm wheelbase and reclining rear seats to increase passenger comfort, and a 540-litre boot for luggage and family needs. Its exterior was developed through Changan’s global design network and has received international recognition, including a Golden A’ Design Award. Klaus Zyciora is named as Changan Global Design Vice-President and former Volkswagen Group design chief.
Powertrain details include a 51.9 kWh CATL lithium iron phosphate battery with Changan’s Golden Shield 2.0 technology. The system supports 3C fast charging with a peak DC charging capability of up to 162 kW, allowing a 30 to 80% charge in roughly 15 minutes under compatible conditions. A 120 kW electric motor drives the vehicle, which is quoted with a driving range of up to 462 km under the NEDC test cycle and an energy consumption figure of 12.9 kWh per 100 km. The Ultra variant is priced at Rs 5.199 million.
Changan has reported that cumulative sales of the model in China exceeded 125,000 units by the end of August 2026.
The new Dhangadhi showroom will provide customers across Sudurpashchim Province with access to vehicle sales, customer service and after-sales support.
Shree Global was established in 2082 BS and is run by directors Krishna Dev Uprety and Hitesh Ojha. The company is the authorised dealer for Changan’s DEEPAL and NEVO brands in the region. Changan Automobile is a state-owned enterprise affiliated with China South Industries Group Corporation, while MAW Vriddhi Autocorp serves as the authorised distributor for Changan and its sub-brands across Nepal.
