POKHARA: Himalayan Hideaway Resort Pokhara, The Centara Collection, has won the 'Best New Hotel/Resort 2026' award at the South Asian Travel Awards in the Maldives.
The award was presented at the SATA Gala Awards Ceremony on October 8. The award recognises achievements in hospitality and tourism across South Asia. The resort opened on February 6, 2026, making the honour notable less than a year after it began operations.
Situated in the hills of Kaskikot with views of the Annapurna range and Phewa Lake, the secluded retreat has established itself in Nepal’s luxury travel sector. Located about 35 minutes from Pokhara, the property features 42 rooms, suites and villas that combine modern fittings with Nepali design elements and Thai touches.
