
KATHMANDU: Three federations involved in the gold and silver business held discussions regarding the procedures related to the business.
A joint task force consisting of Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), Federation of Nepal Gold Silver Gem and Jewellery Associations (FNGSGJA) and Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal (FHAN) has taken the initiative of making a procedure of gold and silver business. The task force has been taking this initiative for a long time.
FENEGOSIDA President Manik Ratna Shakya said that this initiative has been started with the aim of helping the gold and silver business to operate in an orderly and efficient manner. The meeting of the joint task force of three federations held in Kathmandu on Tuesday decided to create a business-friendly procedure in consultation with the government agencies.
The import of gold, distribution system, laws, and other issues were discussed in the meeting. FNGSGJA President Suresh Man Shrestha, FHAN President Prachanda Shakya, the joint task force coordinator, Bipin Ramudamu, and other members of the federations participated in the meeting.
