
KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives (HoR) is set to discuss the government's annual policies and programmes for the upcoming fiscal year 2025/26, starting today.
As part of the process, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will present a proposal for discussion on the policies and programmes outlined by President Ramchandra Paudel in his address to the joint session of both Houses of the federal parliament on Friday.
General Secretary of the Federal Parliament, Padma Prasad Pandey, confirmed that amendments proposed by lawmakers to the government's policies and programmes for the next fiscal year will be tabled and debated in parliament.
According to the agenda, the HoR meeting will commence at 11:00 am today. Meanwhile, discussions on the government's policies and programmes began in the National Assembly on Sunday.
The programme is also scheduled for discussion in today's NA meeting, which will start at 1:15 pm.
