Former NRNA General Secretary Paudel congratulates newly elected leadership  

KATHMANDU: Former General Secretary of Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) and activist Dr Keshab Paudel has congratulated the team led by Mahesh Shrestha, who was elected president through the unity convention.  

Issuing a statement via social media, Dr Paudel reaffirmed his support for a unified NRNA, stating that he would contribute from outside without holding any official position.  

“I have always been in favour of a unified NRNA,” he said. “Therefore, I have decided to support it from outside this time without holding any position.”  

Dr Paudel apologised to friends from various countries who had come forward to support him, acknowledging their disappointment.  

Expressing gratitude to his well-wishers, he added, “I want to assure you that I will continue to remain active in the unified NRNA campaign in the days to come.”
