KATHMANDU: Indian Principals' Network (IPN Foundation) is set to host the India-Nepal School Leaders’ Summit 2025 in association with Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham today.
The event will bring together school educators from both countries. With the central theme, "School Education 5.0: Nurturing the Human and Tech Connect," the summit aims to transform school education through technological innovation, strategic partnerships, and human-centred integration of digital tools.
The summit will focus on fostering cross-border synergies to encourage collaboration and knowledge exchange between Indian and Nepali education ecosystems. It aims to introduce new learning experiences through advanced technologies and progressive pedagogical models while facilitating discussions among educators, policymakers, and experts to establish future-ready education systems.
Panel discussions will address key topics, including leveraging technology to enhance learning outcomes and rethinking pedagogical approaches to equip students with 21st-century skills. Experts will also explore sustainable models for Indo-Nepal education collaboration, ensuring long-term benefits for both countries’ academic frameworks.
A delegation of senior school leaders from India, representing Sunbeam Group of Institutions, Dr Virendra Swaroop Group of Schools, Kanpur, Gwalior Glory Group of Schools, Sri Satya Sai Group of Schools, and others, will participate in the summit. These education leaders, representing some of India's most progressive schools, will engage in discussions, share best practices, and explore collaborative opportunities with their Nepali counterparts. Their involvement reinforces the summit’s commitment to strengthening cross-border educational partnerships and shaping a unified vision for future-ready learning in South Asia.
One of the key announcements at the summit will be the launch of the Asian Education Coalition (AEC) and the unveiling of its founding charter. Spearheaded by IPN Forum, the coalition seeks to create a unified platform across Asia for schools, educators, researchers, and policymakers. The AEC aims to foster cross-border collaboration, drive innovation in pedagogy and edtech, and support capacity-building initiatives aligned with regional and global education objectives.
"This summit is more than just a dialogue—it marks a pivotal moment in envisioning and enabling education across borders. We are also proud to announce the launch of the Asian Education Coalition, an initiative aimed at creating a shared platform for collaboration, innovation, and capacity building among Asian education stakeholders," said Gaurava Yadav, Founder and Moderator of IPN Forum, and Founder and Chairman of Asian Education Coalition (AEC). "Together, we can create an ecosystem where every student and educator benefits from shared vision and collective action."
