
KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Home Affairs, Communications and Law of Madhesh Province, ICT Foundation Nepal, and CAN Federation Madhesh Province are set to organise the Digital Madhesh Conclave 2025 this Wednesday in Madhesh Province.
The event, taking place in Bardibas, Mahottari district, will feature extensive discussions and interactions on the current digital status, possibilities, opportunities and challenges in Madhesh Province. According to the organiser, ICT Foundation Nepal, more than 30 expert speakers will participate in over six sessions.
Centred around the theme "Fostering Digitalisation and Development," the conclave will include three keynote presentations and over six thematic panel sessions. It will also showcase various digital initiatives and present ideas for digital transformation specific to Madhesh Province.

The Digital Madhesh Conclave 2025 will include presentations and panel discussions on topics such as digital infrastructure, digital education, AI and data security, start-up and innovation ecosystems, ICT policies and digital governance.
Previously, on April 22 and 23, ICT Foundation Nepal organised a two-day Digital Karnali Conclave in Surkhet.
As a regional conclave, this event benefits from the direct involvement of provincial governments serving as co-organisers. It is expected to help prioritise the digital and ICT sectors in policy planning and budget formulation for upcoming fiscal year 2025/26.
In its inaugural edition, the Digital Madhesh Conclave is anticipated to welcome over 300 participants, including representatives from all local governments, ministries and ICT-related stakeholders.
