
KATHMANDU: Human Resources Society Nepal (HRSN) today marked International HR Day for the second time, with participation from HR experts representing more than 100 organisations.
HR experts have been observing International HR Day annually on May 20 with various organised programmes.
The event, organised by HRSN, featured a pedestrian rally under the slogan "HumanifyAI Leading HR Together: Leading in a New Way. Leading in a Digital World." The rally started from KL Dugar Group's office in Charkhal, passed through Bagbazar Chowk, Star Mall, and City Center, and concluded back at KL Dugar Group's office with a brief corner meeting.
The primary objective of the rally was to commemorate International HR Day and bring together HR professionals from different organisations, fostering solidarity and enthusiasm within the HR community.
During the event, it was highlighted that the programme serves as a significant step in recognising the crucial role of HR in integrating with the digital world for organisational success.
HRSN is a non-profit social organisation established in 2013 by senior human resources experts. It aims to strengthen and empower the human resources sector as a fundamental aspect of management, continuously enhancing the expertise of HR professionals and expanding its scope. In addition to its provincial chapters, HRSN has an international affiliation with NHRDN in India. The organisation regularly conducts various programmes, including monthly knowledge-sharing sessions (KSS), training and skill development programmes, and National HR summits.
