CIT, DoLMA sign agreement for online system for collateral management

KATHMANDU: An agreement has been reached between the Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) and the Department of Land Management and Archive (DoLMA) regarding the online system for the hypothecation and release of collateral.

Executive Director Parbat Kumar Karki signed the agreement on behalf of CIT, and Director General Shiva Prasad Regmi signed on behalf of DoLMA.

Following the agreement, the hypothecation and release of collateral for housing and simple loans provided by CIT in the Kathmandu Valley will be completed online. CIT believes this will expedite housing and simple loan related tasks and ensure that service recipients receive effective service.
