Finance Minister briefs President on upcoming budget
KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Bishnu Prasad Paudel has briefed President Ramchandra Paudel on the budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2025/26.
In accordance with constitutional provisions, the government is set to present the budget in the Federal Parliament on 29 May.
On Tuesday, Finance Minister Paudel visited the President’s House, Shital Niwas, and briefed the Head of State on the annual budget, according to the President’s Personal Secretariat.
Ahead of the budget announcement, Finance Minister Paudel presented the economic survey in Parliament on Tuesday.
