KATHMANDU: Ncell, in collaboration with Uptrendly, has announced the launch of the League of Creators – a dynamic, nationwide initiative aimed at discovering and empowering Nepal’s next-generation digital content creators.

With the hype stating "Create. Compete. Conquer.", this multi-phase competition offers aspiring creators a platform to showcase their talent under the theme "My Network, My Connectivity", earn nationwide visibility and win exclusive rewards – including a one-year brand deal with Ncell worth Rs 1 million.

Selected participants will also have the opportunity to receive personal content creation training from some of the country’s foremost content creators – Sanjog Koirala, Pratima Adhikari, Foodie Nepal, Parakram Rana and Ekata Tandukar – who will serve as their mentors.

"This is more than just a contest; it is a creative development journey that brings together mentorship, hands-on workshops, real-world exposure, high-stakes challenges and exciting rewards. Through this initiative, we aim to empower the next generation of Nepali digital content creators by providing them with a platform to learn, grow and inspire change through impactful content. As part of Nepal’s digital ecosystem, we are committed to nurturing talent and driving transformation," said Punam Singh, Director of Marketing Communications and Sustainability at Ncell.

Registrations commenced on Friday, May 30, 2025, and the League of Creators is open to all Nepali creators aged 16 and over, regardless of previous experience. Participants are invited to submit a 30- to 90-second vertical video exploring personal or emotional interpretations of connectivity. Videos should be posted on both TikTok and Instagram, tagging @Ncell and including designated mentor hashtags – for example, #TeamSanjog alongside #NcellLeagueOfCreators2025 – in the caption. The submission deadline is June 10, 2025.

From the submissions received across the country, the top 50 creators will be selected by the mentors for further mentorship and exclusive training. These creators will be organised into five mentor-led teams, each of which will participate in workshops at Ncell ICON. The initiative also features challenge rounds based on new creative briefs and evaluations by expert jury members.

The League of Creators’ Grand Finale Carnival will be organised on June 28 2025, during which the winner will be announced and top performers celebrated with a live entertainment programme. The winning participant will receive a one-year brand deal with Ncell worth Rs 1 million. In addition, exclusive training with Nepal’s leading content creators, enhanced nationwide visibility and valuable networking opportunities form part of the initiative’s comprehensive rewards.

Industry leaders from Ncell and the US Embassy will guide the participating creators and assess their entries.

Entry is free, and participants must be based in Nepal throughout the campaign.
