HoR holds discussion on revenue and expenditure estimates; DPM Paudel to present proposal of Customs Bill at NA

KATHMANDU: Both Houses of the Federal Parliament are set to hold meetings today. The House of Representatives commenced its meeting at 11:00 am while the National Assembly will convene at 1:15 pm.

The provisional programme for the House of Representatives meeting includes a proposal by Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel, which will be followed by a general discussion on revenue and expenditure estimates for fiscal year 2025/26.

Chairperson of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee of the House of Representatives, Ramhari Khatiwada, is due to present the report of a committee on the Federal Civil Service (2082).

Finance Minister Paudel is set to present a proposal seeking consideration of the "Customs Bill, 2080" at the National Assembly meeting.

Minister for Education, Health and Technology Raghuji Pant is scheduled to present a proposal calling for discussion on the "Bill on Martyr Dasharath Chand Institute of Health Sciences, 2080" in the National Assembly, the bill having been forwarded by the House of Representatives.
