
KATHMANDU: National Lashubitta Bittiya Sanstha has joined the pension scheme operated by Citizen Investment Trust (CIT).
Executive Director Parbat Kumar Karki, on behalf of CIT, and CEO Ram Bahadur Yadav, on behalf of National Lashubitta Bittiya Sanstha, signed an agreement for approximately 600 employees of the microfinance institution to enrol in the scheme.
CIT’s scheme allows organised institutions and their employees to participate. Under the arrangement, organisations can manage their gratuity fund on a contributory or non-contributory basis.
Accordingly, the D-class national-level microfinance institution has joined the fund’s gratuity plan.
National Lashubitta Bittiya Sanstha currently provides microfinance services to 241,000 households across 74 districts through 185 branches nationwide.
