KATHMANDU: King’s College is set to host the Nepal Entrepreneurship Forum (NEF) in Kathmandu on July 26–27 under the theme “Towards Sustainable Entrepreneurship Ecosystem”.

The second edition of the international conference will feature more than 25 speakers and experts from Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Japan, Finland and Kosovo. It aims to draw over 200 participants, including international and local entrepreneurs, researchers, policymakers, development partners, government officials and students.

The two-day event is designed to bridge academic research and practical entrepreneurship through discussions, paper presentations, showcases and networking sessions. By creating a shared platform, the conference seeks to convene academics, professionals and stakeholders working in sustainable enterprise, enabling dialogue and mutual learning.

“Such an entrepreneurship conference in Nepal fosters innovation, creates vital networks, supports economic growth, tackles unemployment, promotes sustainable development, and helps young entrepreneurs overcome unique challenges in a developing country context,” said Chittaranjan Pandey, Professor at King’s College.

The forum aims to facilitate knowledge exchange, highlight innovative solutions aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and promote responsible business practices to strengthen sustainable entrepreneurship.
