PM Oli inspects drought-affected areas in Madhes
MAHOTTARI: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli inspected drought-affected areas of Tarai-Madhes today.
A cabinet meeting held on July 23 decided to declare Madhes Province a disaster-affected area for three months.
Earlier, Prime Minister Oli held discussions with relevant ministers, the provincial government and other concerned bodies to address the problems arising from the impact of drought on paddy plantation in the region.
