KATHMANDU: Members of the House of Representatives (HoR) have objected to India–China agreement to trade through the Lipulek, Limpiyadhura and Kalapani regions, emphasising that the matter should be resolved through a diplomatic process.
In a special session of the HoR today, lawmaker Ram Hari Khatiwada said the proposal to build a trade route through Lipulek, Limpiyadhura and Kalapani must be settled by diplomatic means. He said that, with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli due to visit both countries in a few days, the issue should be addressed through talks.
