
KATHMANDU: NIMB Ace Capital, in collaboration with Pioneer Law Associates and ICRA Nepal, held a workshop titled ‘Road to IPO: From conversion to listing’ in Kathmandu on Friday.
The session was inaugurated by Shivanth Bahadur Pande, CEO of NIMB Ace Capital, who emphasised the role of an initial public offering in shaping long-term corporate strategy, facilitating capital formation and contributing to broader economic growth.
Anup Raj Upreti, Managing Partner of Pioneer Law Associates, outlined the legal considerations and the current regulatory framework governing IPOs. Sachindra Dhungana, Deputy CEO of NIMB Ace Capital, addressed corporate governance, optimal timing, capital structuring, pricing and listing timelines. Rajib Maharjan, Head of the Rating Division at ICRA Nepal, examined how a company’s financial health influences credit ratings and investor confidence.
The workshop offered participants from various corporate organisations a detailed roadmap for navigating the IPO process, from conversion to stock exchange listing. Attendees gained practical insights into compliance requirements, documentation procedures and strategic planning for public-market entry.
Through the initiative, NIMB Ace Capital, Pioneer Law Associates and ICRA Nepal reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing financial literacy, strengthening corporate governance and supporting Nepali businesses on their path to becoming publicly listed companies.
