
KATHMANDU: Himalayan Everest Insurance (HEI) has begun processing compensation claims for properties damaged during the recent Gen‑Z movement protests, the company announced on Thursday.
HEI said it has fast‑tracked payment procedures to accelerate settlements for affected policyholders. Claimants are advised to gather required documentation and visit their nearest HEI branch to file claims.
Rojraj Luitel, Head of Claims Department, said the company is committed to providing seamless service and will work closely with clients to simplify the claims process. HEI added that customers may contact both central and regional offices for assistance.
The company has paid tribute to those who lost their lives during the movement and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
