Congratulating the new committee, President Dhakal said he expected it to play an effective role in promoting business interests, marketing local products and energising the economy, and he stated that FNCCI stood ready to help.
He added that Mustang’s Korala transit point should be developed as a centre for trilateral trade, noting that once the Kaligandaki Corridor is complete, Korala will become the shortest route connecting Nepal, China and India.
A team including FNCCI President Dhakal and the presidents of the district CCIs under the Gandaki Province president arrived in Jomsom to study and observe the condition and potential of Korala transit point on Nepal–China border.
