KATHMANDU: MAW Vriddhi officially launched its festive Mega Exchange Carnival on Friday at Alice Reception, Gairidhara, Kathmandu, with simultaneous events at all authorised Deepal, Nammi and Seres showrooms across Nepal.
The opening day drew large crowds as customers explored electric vehicles (EVs) from Deepal, Avatr, Nammi and Seres, reflecting strong public interest in the country’s growing EV market.
Visitors at the main Kathmandu event were able to view and test drive flagship models from Nepal’s top EV brands, with the ultra‑premium Avatr electric SUV available for test drives for the first time in the country. Interactive attractions, including robots and racing simulators, proved popular, while a range of children’s games and activities kept families engaged throughout the day.
The Exchange Mela allows customers to exchange their old vehicles and upgrade to the latest EVs, with trade‑in valuations provided by Nepal’s top five reconditioning houses to ensure competitive offers. Attendees can benefit from exchange bonuses and cash discounts, with promotional savings of up to Rs 1.5 million on selected models, and every customer who books a vehicle during the event will receive a one‑night stay for two at a premium Nagarkot resort.
Beyond Kathmandu, the Exchange Carnival is taking place at Deepal, Nammi and Seres showrooms nationwide, offering the same exchange facilities, cash discounts and promotional incentives to customers across the country. The event positions MAW Vriddhi as a prominent facilitator of EV adoption by combining product access, financial incentives and family‑friendly activities during the festive season.
Organisers said the strong first‑day response underscores growing consumer appetite for electric mobility in Nepal and signals an active market for vehicle upgrades during the festival period.
