NEPSE index rises 62.29 points to 2,571.34 as turnover hits Rs 4.57bn
KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index today rose by 62.29 points to settle at 2,571.34, a growth of 2.48%.
A total of 9,243,723 shares of 314 companies were traded in 47,094 transactions, generating a turnover of Rs 4,573,943,405.50.
Except for Tradings, the sub‑indices of all other groups rose today.
In today's trading, the share prices of Nyadi Hydropower (NYADI) and Butwal Power Company (BPCL) gained 10% and 9.99% respectively, while among the biggest losers, the share price of Himalayan Power Partner (HPPL) decreased by 6.36%.
