Government to accept Rs 14.38bn ADB soft loan
KATHMANDU: The government has decided to accept Rs 14.38 billion soft loan from the Asian Development Bank for public financial management and fiscal transfer.
The Cabinet meeting held on Monday decided to hand over a building and 115 bighas of land, jointly registered in the names of Pavan Kumar Sharda and Murali Lal Murarka, to Ramkumar Sharad Uma Prasad Murarka Provincial Hospital in Lahan Municipality, Siraha district. The capital gains tax on the transfer will be excised.
Government spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel said a delegation will be formed under the coordination of the joint secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development to attend a meeting of the Nepal‑India Joint Agriculture Taskforce to be held in Kathmandu from December 27 to December 29.
The Cabinet also decided on the promotion and appointment of several security officials.
