KATHMANDU: inDrive organised a prize handover event for its Platinum drivers in Kathmandu on Friday. The company handed over a TATA Xpres-T EV car and a TVS Raider motorbike to the winners of its Platinum Drivers Giveaway Campaign.
The three-week Platinum Drivers Giveaway Campaign ran from December 29 to January 4. Tum Bahadur Thapa Magar won the TATA Xpres-T EV car in the cab driver category, and Ashesh Magar won the TVS Raider in the bike/moto rider category.
Both winners were selected from a pool of drivers who consistently maintained Platinum status across all three challenge weeks and fulfilled all eligibility criteria, the company said.
In addition to the grand prizes, the campaign awarded multiple weekly rewards, including 15 winners of Redmi Note 14 5G smartphones, 30 winners of Ultima Atom 192 Bluetooth earbuds, 30 winners of Ultima Circle smartwatches and 1,500 winners of petrol vouchers.
Expressing his happiness, Thapa Magar said, “I am truly grateful to inDrive for recognising our hard work and dedication. Maintaining Platinum status requires consistency, discipline, and a commitment to providing the best service to passengers every day. Winning the TATA Xpres-T EV is not just a personal achievement but a motivation to continue delivering quality service. This reward has encouraged me to aim even higher in my journey with inDrive.”
Likewise, Ashesh Magar, a rider partner, said, “It feels incredible to be selected as the grand prize winner. The Platinum Drivers Giveaway campaign pushed me to improve my performance and maintain service standards throughout the challenge period. Receiving the TVS Raider is a proud moment for my family and me. I thank inDrive for creating opportunities that genuinely appreciate and uplift driver partners like us.”
Meanwhile, Sunita Jeemi Rai, Senior Driver Operations Specialist at inDrive Nepal, said the company was pleased to see how the campaign had supported drivers, changed lives and helped them take control of their own income. She added, “We look forward to bringing more beneficial and exciting campaigns and rewards for our driver partners in the future.”
Rai also informed about the launch of the first Driver Loyalty Programme (DLP) of 2026 from February 16 and that it will offer further opportunities for driver partners to win TATA Xpres-T EVs, bikes, smartphones and more. She encouraged all driver partners to stay active and updated through the inDrive app.
