KATHMANDU: Wi-Fi Nepal has connected 100,000 households across the country since beginning operations in 2022, the company said, marking a major milestone for the fast-growing internet service provider.

The firm said it reached the figure in less than three years and has expanded its footprint to more than 100 cities. Wi-Fi Nepal now operates through over 40 contact offices nationwide, providing local support and faster customer service.

As it completes three years of service in 2026, the company has grown its workforce to more than 500 employees, reflecting the scale of its operations and expansion, the company added.

Founded with the aim of making internet access available to every Nepali home, Wi-Fi Nepal has positioned itself as “Your Digital Companion,” focusing on low-income families, students, small households, renters and small businesses that often struggle to afford reliable connectivity.

The company said its practical pricing and dependable connectivity have made it a trusted choice for online learners, entrepreneurs and households seeking stable internet without heavy financial burden. In March 2025, Wi-Fi Nepal was named among the Top 10 internet service providers in Nepal, a recognition the company cited as evidence of its growing market presence.

CEO Shatruhan Panjiyar commented on the milestone, “We are truly thankful to our customers for their trust and to our entire Wi-Fi Nepal team for their dedication. This milestone strengthens our commitment to continuously improving our services and reaching more communities across Nepal.”

Looking ahead, Wi-Fi Nepal said it aims to bridge the digital gap by expanding into more communities and promoting digital inclusion across the country.
