KATHMANDU: inDrive, the global mobility and urban services platform, recently honoured 80 of its top driver-partners in Kathmandu at the inDrive Driver Partner Excellence Awards, titled 'Biswasko Samman'. The company held a formal recognition ceremony to celebrate driver-partners who have shown long-term commitment, reliability and high service standards across cab and moto categories.
The event opened with remarks from Sunita Jeemi Rai, Senior Driver Operations Specialist, who welcomed attendees and described the awards as a tribute to the mutual trust between driver-partners and passengers that underpins inDrive’s operations in Nepal. The ceremony was jointly led by special guest Priyanka Karki alongside Sunita Jeemi Rai, Yoksha Dwi Adrianto and Anastasiia Terentieva.
Awards were presented across three main categories. In total, 80 driver-partners received honours for their professionalism and contribution to strengthening urban mobility in Kathmandu. The awards highlighted not only trip numbers but also attributes such as integrity and trust that inDrive says are central to its growth in Nepal.
Speaking at the closing segment, Yoksha Dwi Adrianto, Drivers Marketing Lead APAC, emphasised the role of recognition in fostering long-term engagement and platform sustainability. inDrive said initiatives like the 'Biswasko Samman' awards are part of its effort to recognise performance beyond numbers and to celebrate service excellence among its driver community.
inDrive, which operates in more than 1,000 cities in dozens of countries, said the awards reflect its broader mission to support local communities through fair pricing and impact programmes while expanding services beyond ride-hailing to include intercity transport, delivery and financial services.
