Laxmi E‑Mobility announces 'Forthing Exchange Fest' offering up to Rs 7 lakh in benefits
KATHMANDU: Laxmi E-Mobility, the authorised distributor of Forthing electric vehicles in Nepal, has announced the 'Forthing Exchange Fest'.
The three-day event will run from March 20 to 22, 2026, at Thapathali, Kathmandu, opposite Nepal Rastra Bank.
The company said the limited-time festival will offer vehicle owners an opportunity to trade in their current cars and upgrade to the Forthing Friday, the brand’s premium electric passenger vehicle. Organisers said the event is an effort to make the transition to sustainable premium mobility more accessible.
According to the announcement, customers can receive benefits worth up to Rs 700,000 through a comprehensive package. The package includes an exchange bonus based on a competitive valuation of the customer’s existing vehicle, an immediate cash discount on the purchase of a new Forthing Friday, one year of Auto Plus insurance, one year of road tax, and a complimentary spare tyre and AC charger.
Laxmi E-Mobility emphasised the promotional event’s broader purpose in a statement, “Our ‘Forthing Exchange Fest’ is more than a promotional event, it is an invitation for customers to embrace the future of premium mobility. With savings of up to Rs 700,000 and a comprehensive support package, we are making it easier than ever for customers to join the electric revolution with the Forthing Friday.”
The company said the offer will be available only during the three-day festival and is intended to reinforce Forthing Friday’s positioning as a premium electric vehicle brand focused on innovation, safety and customer experience.
Forthing is a passenger vehicle brand under Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor Co, a subsidiary of the Chinese state-owned automaker Dongfeng Motor Group. Laxmi E-Mobility, part of the Laxmi Group, is the authorised distributor of Forthing Friday EVs in Nepal and said it is committed to bringing innovative, eco-friendly mobility solutions to the Nepali market.
