HAN, NTB launch 'Jau Hai Pokhara' campaign to attract domestic tourists

GANDAKI: Hotel Association Nepal (HAN) Pokhara and Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) Gandaki Province Office have launched a promotional campaign in eastern cities to attract more domestic tourists.

A campaign called ‘Jau Hai Pokhara’,  is being held in cities across eastern Nepal and will continue until March 27, HAN Pokhara President Laxman Subedi said. According to Subedi, the campaign will visit Birgunj, Hetauda, Biratnagar, Ilam and other centres to invite residents to visit Pokhara.

Subedi said partnerships with tourism entrepreneurs, interaction sessions and publicity programmes will be conducted to promote Pokhara and the tourism products of the local industry. He added that attractive tourism packages for domestic tourists will also be announced during the promotional tour.

Meanwhile, Hotel Association Pokhara Nepal is set to organise the 21st edition of Fewa Mahotsav on the eve of Nepali New Year.

NTB Gandaki Province Office Chief Mani Raj Lamichhane said the events organised in partnership with HAN have helped promote tourism activity in the cities.
