Gold price rises to Rs 297,600 per tola; silver to Rs 4,945 per tola today

KATHMANDU: Price of gold and silver has risen in the domestic market today.

Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA) said the price of yellow metal has increased by Rs 7,400 per tola (11.66 grammes) to reach Rs 297,600; it was Rs 290,200 on Tuesday.

Silver price also climbed, trading at Rs 4,945 per tola, compared with Rs 4,845 on Tuesday, a rise of Rs 100 per tola, FENEGOSIDA said.

According to international media, gold is trading at $4,705 per ounce and silver at $75 per ounce in the international market today.
