KATHMANDU: World Bank Country Division Director for the Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka, David Sislen, paid a courtesy call on Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development, Gita Chaudhary, at her office today.
The meeting focused on enhancing the partnership between Nepal and the World Bank in agriculture and livestock development.
They also deliberated on promoting innovation, improving market management systems, mitigating the impacts of climate change and policy reforms aimed at advancing the agricultural sector, Minister Chaudhary’s Private Secretariat said.
The two sides exchanged views on strengthening nutrition networks and promoting inclusive agricultural development in Nepal, the Secretariat added.
